It was a sad day for us on
June 15, 2006. Our beloved dove Minnies passed away. She was a gentle and loving bird who brought joy to all who came to the bird store. She passed peacefully in the care of our rehabilitator friend Pat, and she is soaring free now. Minnies will be missed but never forgotten.

Another sad day came in the spring of 2008. It was Good Friday, March 21, 2008 and it was very windy. The door opened, and Marley was pulled out of the store by the wind and was lost... We searched and searched and never found her. We'll always miss our little buddy.

Above is the infamous Flutewitch, kayaking the canoe trail out of Siog in Holland, MA. The Flutewitch makes regular appearances at The Bird Store and More.
