Introducing: the Nest-Cargo!
Well folks, it’s time to wing it into the future, because we’ve got some exciting news flying your way! As every great bird knows, sometimes it’s time to leave the nest and spread your wings. The Bird Buggy was great, but this - the Nest-Cargo? It's next level.
So, what the heck IS the Nest-Cargo?
The Nest-Cargo is actually a 1989 Nissan model called the S-Cargo. Originally only sold in Japan in limited numbers, it gives us that perfect blend of retro charm and modern-day functionality!
But, why is it called the S-Cargo? Its styling was inspired by the Citroën 2CV, a French delivery van whose nickname was the snail. "S-Cargo" is a clever name that both stands for "small cargo," as in it's a small cargo van, and sounds like escargot, the French word for snail, as homage to the 2CV.
Being a JDM import, the Nest-Cargo is right hand drive. It's NOT a Kei car, but it is slow - it is a snail after all!
What's Next for the Nest-Cargo?
Don’t forget to give us a wave when you see it flying by! We’d hate for our feathered friends to feel left out, and the Nest-Cargo always has room for one more admirer of the wild world above.
So here's to new beginnings, new birds, and, of course, the fabulous Nest-Cargo—the vehicle that proves that sometimes, the best things come in the quirkiest packages.
If you see the Nest-Cargo out and about, say Hi, and share your pictures and stories with us! You can post them to our Facebook page or send photos to us at birdstoreandmore@gmail.com
